Orme, Wellington & Blucher Meeting By Accident at the Close of the Battle... 7 x 11. Full original color. After a painting by J.A. Atkinson. A moonlit scene as the two leaders greet each other at La Belle Alliance. Blucher suggested that name for the battle as a compliment to the allied armies who defeated Napoleon. But Wellington kept to his custom of naming the battle after his field headquarters in this case the village of Waterloo. $300.00
