[Road map] Ogilby, The Continuation of the Road from London to Flamburgh, 1676. 14 x 17. Color. Lightly age-toned, else VG. A strip map from the first English road atlas. Hills are shown gaphically and wind roses indicate changes of direction as the road meanders. Many landmarks such as windmills, signal beacons. Wood bridges are noted as well as the "Flambrough" Lighthouse. The handsome cartouche features Venus in her sea shell and Neptune. $450.00
