Though much blank space surrounds the Frozen Ocean and Parts Unknown, many place names are given in the Aleutians and along "Kamtschatka." "Land seen by the Spaniards 1775" is noted above Nootka (King George's Sound). Scores of Indian tribes are named and natural features identified include Niagara, the Falls of St. Anthony, Falls of the Ohio, and the sources of the Mississippi. The boundaries of Virginia, the Carolinas and Georgia extend west to the Father of Waters.
