A throw of the die moves a player's token along the board; the instruction sheet (not present) would give geographical / historical facts for each numbered location on the board. The case label features costumed figures representing various European nations including a Scottish soldier in a kilt. The label also extends the title saying it is "...adapted for Elder Pupils in Geography." Wallis & Robinson, Cartographic Innovations..., p. 40, 1.131 Map Games." Provenance: in a private collection since 1983.
