While focused on western Europe the atlas includes De Wit's double-hemisphere world map as well as maps of the continents – Europe (Ottens), Asia (Ottens), Africa (Ottens), and America with the Island of California (Schenk). Two maps relate to Russia – one with a large cartouche dedicated to Peter the Great. Also, a fine example of Homann's Judaea..., and several Middle East and Asian regional maps. Other mapmakers represented in the atlas include Halma, Jaillot, Van Loon, Valk and Visscher.
